Educate, Restore Function, and STOP THE PROGRESSION Today!
STOP THE PROGRESSION Mission
Empowering Individuals with Scoliosis, Postural Deficits, and Back Pain Through Education, Awareness, and Biofunctional Pattern Integration
Consider the Whole Body, Not Just The Spine
The first goal of Stop the Progression is simple: to educate and equip individuals with practical tips and strategies to better understand and manage their scoliosis. While this education can make a meaningful difference in daily posture and body awareness, it is not a substitute for medical treatment.
Scoliosis is a complex condition, and the curve itself must be evaluated and treated by a scoliosis-trained healthcare professional (Shroth Physical Therapists are the BEST!) who can provide individualized care.
Where Stop the Progression fits in is after or alongside that treatment. At its core is Biofunctional Pattern Integration (BPI)—a unique, whole-body approach designed to restore balance, improve proprioception, and retrain functional movement patterns that are often lacking in individuals with scoliosis and postural asymmetry.
Originally developed to help athletes such as cheerleaders, gymnasts, and dancers—who have a higher incidence of postural imbalance—BPI has proven just as effective for non-athletes looking to move with greater ease, stability, and confidence in everyday life.
Stop the Progression is here to help individuals better understand their bodies, build postural awareness, and support their treatment journey—so they can take an active role in their long-term health.

The Biofunctional Scoliosis Education
Course
This course is designed for individuals who want to better understand scoliosis—its impact on posture, movement, and daily life.
While this program provides education, awareness, and practical strategies to help you support your body, it is not a treatment course. Scoliosis is a multifactorial, three-dimensional condition that requires in-person, specialized care from a scoliosis-trained healthcare professional for optimal results.
Through this course, you’ll learn foundational concepts and tools to build postural awareness, improve proprioception and balance, and better understand your own body’s unique needs. The goal is to empower you with knowledge, so you can work in partnership with your healthcare team and take an active role in your scoliosis journey.
Biofunctional Pattern Integration Course (coming soon)
The flagship program behind STOP THE PROGRESSION that targets balance, proprioception, and restores functional movement—it’s a whole-body reset. The first two tiers are for everyone, designed to restore functional movement patterns, calm the nervous system, and facilitate neuro-adaptations that create lasting change. This system engages vision and motor learning for improved balance and proprioception, rewires faulty pathways, and supports not just the musculoskeletal system, but the entire body. What makes this course truly unique is the exclusive 4th Tier of BPI, created for active individuals who want to excel in high-impact activities. From running to jumping to leaping, this tier empowers athletes and fitness enthusiasts to leave the ground safely, explosively, and with confidence. No other program blends foundational neuromuscular retraining with advanced athletic progression quite like this.
